What age can my child start at St Mary’s Preschool?

We take children from 2 years old, depending on space. Children can be enrolled at any age.

What hours are you open?

We run similar hours to most Kindys. Our sessions run from 8.30 am until 12.45pm during term time.

Our eldest children (from approx. 4 years old) join our going to school transition programme, meaning they stay for lunch on a Tuesday and Thursday afternoon and go home at 2.30pm.

But I’m not going to send my child to St Mary’s School?

Our Pre-School sends children to almost every school across Blenheim, including Renwick, Fairhall, Seddon and Ward.

Do we need to be Catholic to come to St Mary’s Pre-School

NO! this is a common misconception. Any and EVERY child is welcome to come to our lovely pre-school 🙂

Our special unique character means we observe christian traditions and have a prayer at mat time. We celebrate Easter and Christmas in a Christian manner, and other special days, such as St Patricks Day, where we talk a little about the tradtion behind the day.

As a parent, how do I make an appointment to speak with the Principal?

We are available to speak to any parent anytime. Please ask to make a suitable time, should the head teacher be busy.
