We were kept updated by our preschool families during the August/September lockdown. We did packs up for the children over this time with resources such as playdough, paint, craft items etc as well for them to keep busy during lockdown. Below are just a few of the photos sent to us of what the children got up to. 

We were lucky enough to have funds donated by The Kina Man – Marlborough and the MGC Leo’s Club, to support us in purchasing Therm rain jackets for all of our tamariki to use while here at preschool.
Valk Designs (www.valkdesigns.co.nz) did the branding on the jackets for us, and they look amazing!

 

We are extremely proud and excited to announce that we have received a Founding Healthy Heart Award from the Heart Foundation for the amazing things we do to promote healthy food and physical activity.
We are helping our tamariki to have healthy habits and healthy hearts for life.

Our Fundraising and Social Team, as well as our preschool community have been working hard as we fundraise towards our new playground!

A huge thanks to Pelorus Trust and The Lions Foundation who have generously granted us funds to put towards the development of the playground as well.

We are now over half way towards our goal thanks to the generosity of the above organisations and our community.

 

Every year we celebrate Matariki by bringing our families together under one roof for kai, and singing.

This year the tamariki sung and performed wonderful actions to Waiti, Waita, Waipunarangi. And also got to sing their families Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in 3 languages; English, Te reo Māori and New Zealand Sign Language.
